POETICAL MAPPING OF MACEDONIAN IDENTITY (FOR LJUPCO STOJMENSKI’S POETRY)

Summary/Abstract: The essay is a re-view of the poetry of Macedonian poet Ljupco Stojmenski (1931-2007). It points out the main topics which are in deep connection with the national identity of the poet. The main circles of his identification in his poetry are the landscape of the own country, its history, the family history, the affirmation of the language and the respect for the folk creation which itself becomes a field of new inspiration. The poetry of this author, represented by many quotations, is devoted to the cultural identification which is transmitted to the next generations.
