Summary/Abstract: We want to aprouch a new angle of seeing the ishues connected to macedonian identity, consiving the area of literature. Macedonian identity is full with antagonisms and hasetatings without change to habituate in the new constellation of the matters. So, this article prefers to underline the innovative method of writing of Macedonian novelist Slavko Janevski, the hypertextuallity, the palimpsest way of reproduction the literar context, which again takes place and becoming popular in modern and especially in postmodern literature. We compare the aspects from which Janevski presents the myth of the vampire with the same of the other Balcanic writers as Peric and Pekic, and further with others in Europian literature, especially in gothic. We also refer to Julia Kristeva`s terms abject and abjecton as forms in which vampire and vampirism appear as another level of individual and collective memory. Analizing some aspects of vampirism discourse we reach the questions of identity, especially specific forms of identity as marginal identities, exclusive identity, delusive identity, nomadism, and above all, plural identities from the aspect of vampire as a medium for overflow of materialistic and transcendent contents, or for interbreeding the spatial and temporal events.
