LIFE – LITERATURE - IDENTITY: A PROJECTION OF CONDITIONS

Summary/Abstract: In the development of the complexity life – literature – identity, as an examples for analysis are taken the novels “Pirey” and “Grasshoppers” by Petre M. Andreevski. In these two works the author focuses at the conditions of the Macedonian people in two different periods: the time of the First World war (“Pirey”), and of the vicissitude years right after the Second World war, the period that here was known under the term collectivisation (“Grasshoppers”). Petre M. Andreevski funds his works on two historic points that he uses as a narrative lenses to tell the story of the existence of the ordinary people that merges the everyday life and the tragic events, thus representing the collective and individual human’s identity.
