Summary/Abstract: In this article is analyzed Lindita Ahmeti’s poetry which differs by the high level of figurativeness, which expands and is shaped within a vast network of references. These references, in broad lines, are divided into three types: 1. References from mythology, 2. References from history, and 3. References from culture. Ahmeti is an accomplished poet whose poetry has the essential characteristics that a genuine poet should have, such as sensitivity, linguistic baggage, motivation of symbolic words, the unique construction of poetics, or the ability to build a poetic identity, these characteristics that place Lindita worthy among the most appreciated Albanian poets.
