Slavic Linguistic Atlas and Cultural Geography

Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with the Slavic Linguistic Atlas whose materials help in broadening the research frames and moving towards a cultural and linguistic dialectology in order to reconstruct the Slavic „living antiquities”. The Atlas materials prove that speakers of Slavic dialects preserve vast resources of the old Slavic spiritual culture which remains hardly recognized in the humanities.
