Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to define the relationship between migration and security in the context of the Greek island of Lesvos. The main research problem was the following question: Does the refugee crisis affect local, national and international security? The following research methods were adopted: statistical analysis, synthesis, inference, comparison and research of the literature on the subject and source documents.
