Summary/Abstract: The article presents the history of the St. Jerome’s Hospital Parish in Kobryn, its condition and operation at the end of the 18th century. The text is based on the protocol of the general visitation carried out in 1799 by the bishop of Vilnius, Jan Nepomucen (Korwin) Kossakowski in the Kobryn and Pruzhany deaneries. The document is stored by the Lithuanian State Historical Archives in Vilnius (Lietuvos Vlastybès Istorijos Archyvas) (LVIA) under the reference number f. 694, ap. 1, b. 3570.
