Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the contribution of the Czech word-formation school to the development of the Bulgarian derivatology. The influence of M. Dokulil’s onomasiological theory on the works of not only Bulgarian scientists directly related to the Czech language and culture but also on other authors is traced.
