Summary/Abstract: This approach points out the most significant aspects of the Romanian Surrealism between the Wars, starting with its poetics, and ending with its poetry, of which the main representatives are Ilarie Voronca, Geo Bogza, Gellu Naum, and Gherasim Luca. The mechanisms of the poetic discourse and the structures of the Surrealist imagery are analyzed in order to highlight the specificity and uniqueness of the Romanian Surrealism in the European context.
