Selected Conflict of Law Issues in the Functioning of International Transactionand Clearing Systems

Summary/Abstract: The article sets out some reflections on the conflict of laws related to transaction and clearingsystems. The primary method of identifying the applicable laws is the choice of law. The complexityof the functioning of the systems may raise the qualification problems related to theterms contained in the conflict of laws norms and make it difficult to identify the applicable law.
