Summary/Abstract: Modern volleyball is developing and connecting with specific software programs that help in the game's progress, training process, and these modern practices are becoming decisive in obtaining victory in sports performance. Our research focused on analyzing the setter position at CSM Sibiu women volleyball team, using specific software programs to discover this position's efficiency. The sample was formed by the team's two setters and analyzed their evolution on the 22 stages of Romania's national championship in 10 months in the season 2018-2019. As a research method, we used the Click & Scout software program to analyze the two players' evolution and the statistical interpretation of the results; we used the Student t test. The investigation results showed that subject SM had better performance in the first part of the championship regarding the service and attack parameter and the second subject improved his performance in the second part of the championship regarding the efficiency of the attack. The research conclusions highlighted that using software programs and coaches can improve the training activity and objectively analyze their players' performance, bringing the current sports activity to another level.
