Summary/Abstract: In alpine skiing performance has increased significantly becoming a sport of strength. Therefore the efficiency and importance of physical training are mandatory. The training modeling in alpine skiing gathers significant data on physiological, mechanical and psychological indices, becoming one of the most important sports principles. Maximizing the potential of an athlete depends on the systematic planning of the training process. Through model-based training, the coach directs and organizes training lessons so that the objectives, methods, and content are similar to a competition. In alpine skiing, the strength must be developed, either explosively or dosed, under equilibrium conditions, within 1-2 minutes. In this sense, the use of the power-endurance method (P-E) for the development of strength in alpine skiing lays the foundations for a good physical training specific to either technical races or speed races. The aim of the research is to identify the most effective methods for developing specific strength in alpine skiing. Thus, during the trainings, the power-endurance method was implemented. The evaluation case study took place between June and October 2020, with the participation of 3 athletes, members of the national alpine skiing team. They were measured and evaluated using the Optojump system, by applying the test "60 sec Plyometric jump", in the training period (initial and final testing). Through this test the anaerobic power of the athletes was evaluated. The obtained results highlighted the efficiency of the method in their physical training, following that they will be correlated with the results from the future sports competitions.
