Family Style In The Language Of Ilyas Efendiyev's Play "Atayev Family"

Summary/Abstract: People's writer Ilyas Efendiyev's dramatic work, which began in the middle of the twentieth century, consistently realizes the potential of the influence of the family style of the Azerbaijani literary language on the artistic style in the new historical conditions. As for the play "Atayev family", in this work, the familyhousehold style, demonstrating all its ideological and aesthetic power, becomes a means for a more vivid, more perfect depiction of the images of people belonging to different social strata. The article examines the features that define the linguistic and stylistic picture of the play in the context of both dialogue and monologues, and analyzes the specific details of the technology of family language in the speech of individual characters. No matter how much the writer tries to "literaryize" the family style (this was the demand of the time), his artistic intuition in many cases challenged the manifestation of this style with all its naturalness, in which, for example, Dilshad's speech is more prominent. In general, Ilyas Efendiyev, as a great master of the national language, has always played a historical role in strengthening the position of the family style in speech, as he has always supported the enrichment of literary and artistic language with the vernacular.
