Summary/Abstract: The development of the agricultural sector serves to solve vital problems at the national and global level. The characteristics of innovative development, including the pace of innovative development, depend on many and varied factors. They are the main factors that shape the macro and micro economic environment of development. These factors affect a wide range of issues, from the sensitivity of agricultural production processes to innovation and the effectiveness of incentives, to adapting depreciation policy to innovative development needs and increasing the level of investment protection. For these and other reasons, in order to increase the pace of innovative development in the agricultural sector, first of all, it is necessary to evaluate the innovation potential and determine the ways to implement it. The article addresses issues such as promoting innovation processes in the agricultural sector and adapting the acceleration of innovation development in the field to the needs of sustainable development.
