Review of the publication “Unknown Society“

Summary/Abstract: The reviewed book consists of several separate essays, the unifying element of which comprises the current position of various issues in the contemporary debate in Czech society. The essays cover topics such as homelessness, suburbanisation, climate change and disinformation, which are illustrated using principally contemporary Czech examples. The author applies a number of concepts from various fields of the social sciences and humanities for the interpretation thereof and places them in the broader context in a legible, concise and appropriate manner with regard to the popular learning format.
