Summary/Abstract: Cultural goods are a link between the past and the present, as well as a source of information and also a testimony of the past.They can play this role only if they get the well deserved attention and respect. Libraries and museums have an important part in the preservation, study and transmission of these values. They have the obligation to study then spread the information about such goods. These institutions also have the obligation to ensure proper conditions for the conservation of these values.
