Summary/Abstract: This article presents, through concrete examples, a series of cultural diplomacy projects carried out in Italy by the Romanian Institute of Culture and Humanistic Research in Venice and the Accademia di Romania in Rome, both institutions being part of the Romanian Cultural Institute network. Also, the cultural projects presented, whether we are talking about projects dedicated to music, cinema, or visual arts, or we are talking about the success of Romania's participation in the Turin International Book Fair or complex events such as Europalia or the Romania-France Season, all followed the lines of the “Strategy for culture and national heritage 2016-2022”, being an example of good practices for the development of future cultural diplomacy projects.
