Summary/Abstract: This article attempts to answer the question of co-existence of words and images in a cultural text, in the context of reflections on the ‘intermedial turn’. The example used in the paper is the film adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland by Tim Burton (2010). (R)evolution in this aspect primarily involves a change in the form of communication and information acquisition. The aim is to point out the educational value of this type of synergy, which opens up the possibility of reaching new generations of recipients.
