Summary/Abstract: Pandemic times forced the adoption of massive e-learning technologies in all domains, especially in the education field for all levels, due to sanitary restriction. It is now the time for disruptive technologies like artificial intelligence with its subdomains, machine learning and deep learning to provide new applications in the educational domain. This paper will recommend the available artificial intelligence technologies by presenting the advantages for e-learning by reviewing with a critical eye the official reports, whitepapers, or research studies from the domain with a focus on machine learning models, deep learning, etc. I will provide some recommendations for applying artificial intelligence in education and some areas where machine learning specialists can develop new machine learning models for creating opportunities for an open, personalized, and inclusive education. I will remark on the high potential of artificial intelligence and machine learning models in education regarding market share and applications.
