Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to address some scientific perspectives of the sacred image of the Virgin of Guadalupe that appeared in the tilma of the “seer” Juan Diego. The content of the “Message of Guadalupe” received by Juan Diego is also addressed. The importance of the several “signs” of this Marian apparition is also discussed in this essay.
