Summary/Abstract: Rapid technological innovations are increasingly enhancing teaching and learning. Internationalisation of higher education has challenging experiences due to cultural diversity especially with international students who require effective integration strategies to enhance learning achievement. There is need to engage relevant pedagogical technologies and strategies to enhance the students’ learning outcome and social integration in the host higher education institutions (HEIs). The objective of this study was to demonstrate the use of interactive media as a strategy for improving international students’ learning outcome and cultural integration. This research was conducted at Eotvos Loránd University, Hungary and it involved zero-year computer science international students. The study span over a period of fourteen (14) weeks with four student-teacher contact hours per week. Data collection was done using questionnaires and assessment of students’ projects. The study found that interactive media in higher education institutions contributed significantly to students’ learning outcomes and cultural integration.
