Summary/Abstract: The paper focuses on The Assumption of John the Theologian (BHG 916), which commemorates the feast of the Saint on 26 of September in the South Slavic calendrical collections. It researches the dissemination of this text in the South Slavic milieu. A comparison between the witnesses was according to which a preliminary systematization of the manuscripts in which the text has been copied is suggested.
