Summary/Abstract: The review analalyses the collection of articles "Latvijas materiālā kultūras mantojuma saglabāšanas problēmas II" (Riga, 2013) in which students who major either in history at the University of Latvia or in art history at the Latvian Academy of Art have taken up the problems concerning various historical buildings across Latvia and possible strategies of restoration.
