Summary/Abstract: Pointing out a strong imbalance between the formative educational influences (completely outdated) and the informative ones in Romanian contemporary society, the author proposes, as a balancing solution, the State-Church combined educational action (formal, non-formal, and informal) on the stimulation and practicing of pro-social individual and collective behaviour. In order to achieve this, the author resorts to the moulding method, employing a model which unifies the moral archetypes found in folktales and in the compulsory readings of the national curriculum, with the behaviour examples provided in the Holy Gospels. She strongly believes that this joint action, based on behaviour models, would entail the improvement of interpersonal communication (heavily deteriorated at the present moment), the harmonization of social life as well as an increase in the quality of the spiritual-religious life, the latter representing the base and the perspective for eternal life.
