Summary/Abstract: When we walk and drive about towns, we consider urban landscapes as limitless forms. In urban space, we find many layers of information. City centers reveal to us different semantic and aesthetic meaning. There are many elements of urban landscapes, such as parks, which change according to the seasons of the year, and clothing, which people ware. Also, there are different models of cars and other vehicles, and different billboards, which inform people of events, places, and other things. Cities are ‘dressed’ in a kind of ‘informative cloak’, which is designed according to the standards of current fashion and administrative rules. Messages printed on billboards and street signs are supposed to be easily readable and aesthetic. They must look attractive to people. They often repeat the same message. Most often, messages are located on the ground-floor-level. ‘Informative cloak’ is an important element of urban landscape.
