FINANCIAL ANALYSIS OF TOURISM SECTOR DURING PANDEMIC: THE CASE STUDY

Summary/Abstract: The Corona virus pandemic has impacted all the economic sectors in the world, but the most vulnerable is tourism sector. The total paralysis of the tourism sector has had a devastating effect on countries with large revenues from this sector. Based on collection the data set, the aim of this paper is to analyze the financial situation of the country due to revenues from the tourism sector during the pandemic conditions. The study includes empirical research, observation, measurement and data analysis on Georgia. The study concluded that the countries with the high dependency on tourism revenues are affected and tourism sectors paralysis influenced many other economic activities, which is accordingly effect on countries financial situation. With an aim of lessness negative effects of pandemic to the country's revenues, has been proposed some of the ideas.
