Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to share the experience gained by the 2nd and 3rd year students, major subject - Theatre Actor, in the practical workshop “Mask and Documentary Theatre” The workshop took place during two weeks and was intended to use two different, seemingly incompatible but complementary techniques - the mask and the documentary theatre. The article, describes briefly the methodology of teaching the mask according to the method of the Jacques Lecoq School and the documentary theatre by the verbatim method. The workshop was led by the pedagogues Manon Guillemin (France)and Mihai Fusu (Moldova). The article presents the aims, the teaching methodology and the results obtained by the students when carrying on the workshop works.
