WEDDING TRADITIONS IN THE VILLAGE VEVCHANI – STRUSHKI DRIMKOL

Summary/Abstract: In this study the autor makes an attempt to review the main characteristics of the wedding, as well as the wedding customs in village Vevchani, specially the ones in the past and their comparison with the today’s ones. The primary purpose of our research is to underline the possibility to prolong the wedding customs and traditions from the past, and their preserving as traditional mark of one ethnical group or one nation. Today we are aware of only the most characteristic wedding customs from the huge number of such ones.
