Summary/Abstract: Our paper focuses on some particular medical terms inherited from Latin, namely those terms that have the significance of “disease/illness/sickness” or “ill/sick”: morbum, aegrotatio and dolor, languor, malum. There are some similarities but also differences between the Romance languages with respect to these terms.
