Summary/Abstract: Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations was adopted at the United Nations Conference , which was held at the Neue Hofburg in Vienna (Austria), the second March 14th April in 1961. The Convention is an international treaty which codified the most important part of the previously existing customary diplomatic rights, with a few new disposition. It contained provisions on the rights and obligations of the receiving State and the sending State in respect of permanent diplomatic missions sided character, immunities and privileges of members of diplomatic missions, administrative and technical staff. Accordingly, diplomacy is an activity that is associated with the foreign policy and international relations, that serves to achieve foreign policy goals , while on a diplomatic law is an integral part of public international law, and as such contains normative rules concerning the relations in the international community, primarily relationships between the state as the main subjects of international law. In contrast, the kind of diplomacy realized through diplomatic protocol and diplomatic activities represent the best model, modality and irreplaceable way to successfully overcome the interstate disputes.
