Summary/Abstract: This article analyses the novel Conversation with Spinoza by the young Macedonian writer Goce Smilevski, through the prism of the twisted dealing with biographies which can be seen in the choice of the theme for the novel, in the strategy of the game with the act of presentation, in writing and reading, as well as in the postmodernistic doubt in the credibility of the factography and the historic presentation.
