Summary/Abstract: The interview with Miroslav Zikmund (1919–2021) was recorded in November 2013 for the Flossenbürg Concentration Camp Memorial. When we contacted Miroslav Zikmund to ask for an interview, we were not sure whether he would have any memory of how he had accompanied a group of prisoners on their way home from the liberated Flossenbürg camp at the end of the war. But he, then aged 94, welcomed us in his villa in Zlín perfectly prepared, and besides the interview, he also provided us with copies of documents and photographs from his extraordinarily carefully kept personal archives.
