Summary/Abstract: This paper points out a problem which is of international importance. It has aim to encourage the public and contribute to the theory and science about the emergence (problem) called corruption which, among other things, threatens the ecological security. There is almost no activity that is not affected by this international phenomenon which is well known in the international community called corruption. Ecology, as an eco-system, is threatened by all forms of threats and risks, so is corruption, which is a very old problem that is destroying a whole society. Then, this paper also points out the problem of the corruption in the modern era, which threatens the system of environmental protection, safety of people and their health and life, as well as material existence. At the same time human rights are vulnerable, and the human survival depends on that. It also points out how and in which forms of unlawful activity is carried out violence, terror and abuse of office by some government officials and individuals, as in some other countries as the Republic of Serbia.This paper also highlights the motives and methods which determine and lead to the commission of illegal activities that involve crimes which affects the system of environmental safety.
