Summary/Abstract: The article investigates the humorous potential of cultural words, names, and linguistic innovations in German-language literary text. These three varieties of linguistic means are presented as important tools for humour creation in the German literature and indicators of linguistic changes. The article analyses the key trends of humorous innovations in literary texts. The study of the cultural and social marked language features of the humour world gives the opportunity to expand the linguistic and interdisciplinary understanding of humorous specificity of their literature presentation.
