For the frequency of homework assignments and the level of teacher education, it is emphasized out that the best average results in the sciences were achieved by students of those teachers who have completed master’s/master’s studies (525 points) and assign homework less than once a week. In mathematics, statistically better student achievements are achieved by students whose teachers have completed higher (secondary) school, and assign a task 3-4 times a week, according to students whose teachers have acquired postsecondary or tertiary education. In the category of homework time of 16 to 30 minutes, students of teachers with completed secondary education achieve significantly better results in mathematics compared to students of teachers of all other levels of education.
