Summary/Abstract: Between 18.10-17.11.2007 preventive archaeological researches were carried out at the evangelical church in Bod, Brașov County, which aimed at granting archaeological discharge to perform restoration works of the monument. For this purpose, eight sections were drawn outside the walls of the church, these being between 3x1.5m and 2x2m. The researches were carried out by the specialists of the County Museum of History Brasov. The excavations have documented the existence of two phases of church building, clearly distinguishing the foundations from the old ones. The archaeological material discovered is little, consisting mainly of fragmentary building materials, small ceramic fragments and human osteological remains left from the former cemetery shifted outside the locality.
