Summary/Abstract: Before the confrontations of the summer of 1917, the morale of the Russian troops in Romania was combative. In spite of subversive actions of the Central Powers against them, the Russian soldiers were impatient to start the offensive and fight until the final victory. The problems of the Russian army were the political policies in Petrograd on the one hand and the rights demanded by minorities on the other hand which created a state of uncertainty towards those at the forefront.
