Summary/Abstract: In the article, the author critically assesses dictionary definitions of the Polish verbs stworzyć and utworzyć, which she treats as synonymous with the undefinable verb robić. The analysis of examples from the National Corpus of Polish and the Internet enables the author to describe the semantic features of the lexical units in question, as well as to point to the differences in meaning between them.
