Summary/Abstract: The written press, the only source of information to all citizen and capable to create opinion currents, was carefully monitored by the Police and General Security Direction, from owner, members of the editorial, published articles to finance and desired interests. Some Romanians or foreign journalists have been proven to spy for the Central Powers and they were expelled.
