Summary/Abstract: Medal representations have the same shape and the same representations - symbols as the coins, as one-faced or two-faced pieces. In the patrimony of Bacau Museum I have found a numismatic piece registered as „Mexican Republic Medal 1835". After a close analysis I have ascertained that it can actually be enclosed in the coin category.
