Summary/Abstract: Western civilization is superior to other civilizations. I know. This statement is scandalous and shocking considering our current post-modern and multicultural era, and it requires an explanation. Western civilization is superior in a political sense. It is the only civilization that has, so far, discovered and realized the ideal of personal and political freedom. If even an ounce of freedom exists in other civilizations, then it does so because these civilizations have been inspired by the West (or perhaps the West forced such freedom onto them).
