Summary/Abstract: The author of this paper tries to update Ioan Nadejde's views about the biography and family genealogy of Morţun family – contained in the magazine of Graphic Arts Institute „Speranta” – Bucharest, 1923. Nădejde, a close partner of Vasile Morţun at Contemporanul magazine prepared and printed the paper at the urging friend, using the help of some specialists, investigating the documentary sources of the time.
