Summary/Abstract: This paper portrays certain aspects of the activity of one of the champions of CFP (hrv. HSS), Josip Torbar, from the time he entered politics until the day he died. The author attempts to connect previous knowledge on Josip Torbar available in literature with facts of published and unpublished sources. Given the fact that this paper only reconstructs a portion of the data on the activity of Josip Torbar, it is necessary to warn readers about the need for further research.
