Summary/Abstract: The medical care given to the inhabitants of Roman city and county evolved at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, partly institutionally, partly due to the number and quality of the educations of the doctors who practiced here. Among the personalities in the domain we also include doctor Alexandru Vasiliu (1859-1913). He followed other representative figures, such as dr. Alexandru Theodori or Vafrino Marini, he was dr. Mihail Burada’s colleague.
