Summary/Abstract: The archive funds, kept by the District Directorates of the Romanian National Archives, represent true information sources on a variety of problems referring to the evolution of the human society throughout the years. Thus, the funds of orthodox parishes and churches, attested during the last centuries, can bring to light new information about the daily life of clerical staff and churchgoers.
