Summary/Abstract: In school mathematics there are specific areas – critical areas that students do not manage repeatedly and for a long time at such a level that their mathematical literacy develops productively. The aim of our paper is to identify critical areas in school mathematics using quantitative analysis of the results of long-term testing of students.
