Summary/Abstract: The article proposes an analysis of divorce by the agreement of the spouses through administrative means. In the first part, the conditions of the divorce are presented by the agreement of the spouses by administrative means. The investigation of this way of dissolving the marriage continues with the divorce procedure, highlighting the main aspects regarding: the divorce application, the competence to resolve it, the settlement of the application, the filing of the divorce file, the refusal of the civil status officer to dissolve the marriage, the date of dissolution and mentions in the marriage certificate. The last part is dedicated to the conclusions that emerge from this study.
