Summary/Abstract: In the context of the Viktor Róna exhibition, we talked to four internationally renowned Hungarian dancers, VIKTOR BANKA (Ballet Vlaanderen), EDIT DOMOSZLAI (Rambert Dance Company), ANDRÁS LUKÁCS (former dancer of the Wiener Staatsoper, artistic director of the Győr Ballet), ISTVÁN SIMON (Ballett Dortmund) and dance historian MÁRK GARA. In addition to the evolution of the concept of the star dancer, they also discussed global trends affecting the dance genre and the changes needed to ensure its healthy survival.
