The process of adolescence in context of parental incarceration

Summary/Abstract: For several years the interest in child development and behavioral disorders in context of parental incarcerationt has been increasing.In addition, scientists are trying to determine whether parental imprisonment is a symptom of a more global family dysfunction, or an independent risk factor to which the child may be exposed? This article will analyze the most important studies on adolescent children of prisoners, as well as recommendations for future research and examples of interventions for this group of children.
