Criminal contacts of Krakow's youth and adaptation styles implemented in sport - on the example of football

Summary/Abstract: This article concern the differential association of youth, various form of sport activity and typical for juvenile deliqunecy style of adaption in sport activity. There were a two groups in the research: young football players (N=112) and pupils from middle school (N=120). To collect the data about juvenile deliquency there has been used a Questionnaire of Strain and Restriction Factors by E. Czerwińska-Jakimiuk. The information about preferred way of adaption in sport activity has been collected by Questionnaire: Style of Adaptation in Sport Activity. Results indicate, that executing the nonconformist style of adaption by young football players is not linked to higher level of crimes relations or the criminal problems in social environment. However, those factors can be considered as a predicator of nonconformity for people, who participate recreationally in sport activity.
